Valentine Road

Nominated for two News and Documentary Emmys this year, the pro-tolerance documentary Valentine Road, by Director and Producer Marta Cunningham, recounts the story that shocked the nation in 2008, when 8th grader Brandon McInerney shot his classmate in Lawrence “Larry” King twice in the back of the head.

Valentine Road chronicles the story of the two victims, the deceased and the murderer. Cunningham takes a compelling object view presenting both Larry and Brandon’s troubled lives; both from broken homes, both physically abused.
