FILM. ‘Kiki N’ Brunch’ About PrEP.

By brandin lakee tolliver

AskMeAboutPrEP.org has released the fun short film ‘Kiki N’ Brunch,’ where viewers eavesdrop on a group of friends as they discuss life, love, and PrEP at brunch on a Sunday Funday.

The short, produced by AltaMed, aims to start, if not, keep the conversation going on the growing number of men of color being infected by the HIV virus, and how the use of PrEP is over 90% effective in preventing HIV when taken as prescribed. Having spent time working with the Stop AIDS Project in San Francisco, educating gay  men on gay men’s’ health, and encouraging the practice of safe sex, I was extremely excited for the arrival of the HIV preventing drug Truvada.  In all honesty, I could get into this as a regular series. Check out Kiki N Brunch below. Enjoy!
